Deer meat, cubed

Carrots, sliced

Potatoes, diced

Onion, chopped

Garlic, minced

Beef broth

Tomato paste

Rosemary
to taste
Salt and pepper
Instructions:
1. Heat a large pot over medium heat and add a bit of oil.
2. Brown the deer meat on all sides, then remove and set aside.
3. In the same pot, add onions and garlic, cooking until softened.
4. Add carrots and potatoes, cooking for a few minutes.
5. Stir in tomato paste, thyme, and rosemary.
6. Return the deer meat to the pot and pour in the beef broth.
7. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours.
8. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
Notes:
For a thicker stew, mix a bit of flour with water and stir in during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
