Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Clams cleaned
  • 1 cup Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 cups Potatoes diced
  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 tsp Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp Butter

Instructions: 

  • 1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • 2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until translucent.
  • 3. Add the diced potatoes and chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender.
  • 4. Add the clams and cook until they open, about 5-7 minutes. Discard any that do not open.
  • 5. Stir in the heavy cream, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
  • 6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes:

Feel free to add some fresh herbs like parsley or thyme for extra flavor.
