Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Chicken cooked and shredded
  • 1 lb Pork cooked and shredded
  • 1 cup Corn fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup Lima Beans fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup Diced Tomatoes canned
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup Barbecue Sauce
  • 1 medium Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tsp Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper to taste

Instructions: 

  • 1. In a large pot, sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until they are soft.
  • 2. Add the shredded chicken and pork to the pot.
  • 3. Stir in the corn, lima beans, diced tomatoes, chicken broth, and barbecue sauce.
  • 4. Add Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  • 5. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 1.5 hours, stirring occasionally.
  • 6. Serve hot and enjoy your hearty Brunswick Stew!

Notes:

This stew is perfect for a cold day and can be frozen for later use.
