Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 whole Chicken cut into pieces
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1 large Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Thyme dried
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup Tomato Sauce
  • 2 cups Potatoes peeled and diced
  • 1 cup Carrots sliced

Instructions: 

  • 1. Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • 2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cook until softened.
  • 3. Add the chicken pieces and brown on all sides.
  • 4. Stir in the thyme, salt, black pepper, and brown sugar.
  • 5. Pour in the chicken broth and tomato sauce, bring to a boil.
  • 6. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes.
  • 7. Add the potatoes and carrots, continue to simmer for another 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
  • 8. Serve hot with rice or bread.

Feel free to adjust the seasoning to your taste.
