Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Pork shoulder cut into chunks
  • 1 head Cabbage chopped
  • 1 large Onion diced
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions: 

  • Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Add the pork chunks and brown on all sides.
  • Add the diced onion and minced garlic, cook until softened.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  • Add the chopped cabbage, reduce heat, and simmer for 30-40 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.

Notes:

This stew is perfect for a cold day. Serve with crusty bread.
