Ghee
Instructions:
Heat ghee in a large pot over medium heat. Add sliced onions and cook until golden brown.
Add ginger garlic paste and cook for 2 minutes.
Add beef shank pieces and cook until browned on all sides.
Add yogurt, nihari masala, and salt. Cook for another 5 minutes.
Pour in water, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 4 hours, or until beef is tender.
Serve hot with naan or rice.
Notes:
Adjust the spice level to your preference by adding more or less nihari masala.
