Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g Pork shoulder cut into chunks
  • 1 large Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp Ginger grated
  • 2 cups Chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 1 cup Carrots sliced
  • 1 cup Potatoes cubed
  • 1 cup Green beans trimmed

Instructions: 

  • 1. Heat a large pot over medium heat and add a bit of oil.
  • 2. Add the pork chunks and brown on all sides.
  • 3. Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Cook until fragrant.
  • 4. Pour in the chicken broth, soy sauce, fish sauce, and brown sugar. Stir well.
  • 5. Add the sliced carrots, cubed potatoes, and trimmed green beans.
  • 6. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 1.5 hours, or until the pork is tender.
  • 7. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes:

This stew is perfect for a cozy dinner. Adjust the seasoning to your taste.
