Olive Oil
Instructions:
1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
2. Add beef and pork, cook until browned on all sides.
3. Remove meat from pot and set aside.
4. In the same pot, add onions and garlic, cook until softened.
5. Stir in tomato paste, cook for 2 minutes.
6. Add red wine, beef broth, carrots, potatoes, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
7. Return meat to the pot, bring to a boil.
8. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 2 hours.
9. Serve hot.
Notes:
For a thicker stew, mix 2 tbsp of flour with a bit of water and stir into the stew during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
