Equipment

  • Dutch Oven
  • Knife
  • Cutting board
  • Wooden Spoon

Ingredients:

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb London Broil cut into cubes
  • 2 cups Beef Broth
  • 1 cup Red Wine
  • 3 pcs Carrots sliced
  • 2 pcs Potatoes diced
  • 1 pcs Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper

  • 1 tsp Thyme dried
  • 1 tsp Rosemary dried

Instructions:

  • 1. Heat olive oil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat.
  • 2. Add the London Broil cubes and brown on all sides. Remove and set aside.
  • 3. In the same pot, add the onions and garlic, and sauté until softened.
  • 4. Sprinkle flour over the onions and garlic, stirring constantly for about 2 minutes.
  • 5. Pour in the red wine, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pot.
  • 6. Add the beef broth, carrots, potatoes, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
  • 7. Return the browned London Broil to the pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low.

  • 9. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes:

For a thicker stew, mash some of the potatoes before serving.
