Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Beef Stew Meat cut into cubes
  • 1 cup Lentils rinsed
  • 1 large Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 cups Beef Broth
  • 2 cups Water
  • 2 tbsp Tomato Paste
  • 2 tsp Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 pcs Carrots sliced
  • 2 pcs Celery Stalks sliced

Instructions: 

  • 1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add beef and cook until browned.
  • 2. Add chopped onions and minced garlic to the pot. Cook until onions are translucent.
  • 3. Stir in tomato paste, beef broth, and water. Bring to a boil.
  • 4. Add lentils, carrots, and celery. Reduce heat and simmer for about 1 hour, or until lentils and beef are tender.
  • 5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.

Notes:

This stew is even better the next day. Store in the fridge and reheat gently.
