Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Beef stew meat
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 1 large Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 can Tomato paste
  • 2 cups Beef broth
  • 1 cup Carrots, sliced
  • 1 cup Potatoes, diced
  • 1 tsp Thyme
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper

Instructions: 

  • Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Add the beef and cook until browned on all sides.
  • Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cook until softened.
  • Stir in the tomato paste and cook for a few minutes.
  • Pour in the beef broth, add the carrots, potatoes, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about an hour, or until the meat and vegetables are tender.

Notes:

Serve hot with rice or bread.
