Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Beef bones preferably with marrow
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 2 Carrots chopped
  • 2 stalks Celery chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 8 cups Water
  • 2 tsp Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
  • 2 sprigs Thyme
  • 2 leaves Bay leaves

Instructions: 

  • 1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the beef bones on a baking sheet and roast for 30 minutes.
  • 2. Transfer the roasted bones to a large pot. Add the chopped onion, carrots, celery, and garlic.
  • 3. Pour in the water and add the salt, black pepper, apple cider vinegar, thyme, and bay leaves.
  • 4. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for at least 4 hours. Skim off any foam that forms on the surface.
  • 5. Remove the bones and bay leaves. Adjust seasoning if needed. Serve hot.

Notes:

This stew is great for meal prep and can be stored in the fridge for up to 5 days.
