beef broth

potatoes, diced

tomato paste

dried rosemary

Biscuits

all-purpose flour

baking powder

cold butter, cubed

milk
Instructions:
1. Heat olive oil in a Dutch oven over medium heat. Brown the beef cubes on all sides.
2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, cook until softened.
3. Stir in beef broth, carrots, potatoes, tomato paste, thyme, and rosemary. Bring to a boil.
4. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 2 hours or until beef is tender. Season with salt and pepper.
5. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
6. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
7. Stir in milk just until dough comes together. Drop by spoonfuls onto a baking sheet.
8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes:
Serve the beef stew hot with freshly baked biscuits.
