Instructions:
1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot. Cook until the onion is translucent.
3. Stir in the diced potatoes, sliced carrots, and beef broth. Bring to a boil.
4. Reduce heat and simmer for about 30 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
5. Add the frozen peas, salt, black pepper, and dried thyme. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
6. Serve hot and enjoy your Hoosier Stew!

This stew is even better the next day, so feel free to make it ahead of time.
