Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb smoked sausage sliced
  • 2 cups potatoes diced
  • 1 cup carrots sliced
  • 1 cup celery sliced
  • 1 cup onion chopped
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp thyme dried
  • 1 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1 tsp black pepper or to taste

Instructions: 

  • 1. In a large pot, cook the sliced smoked sausage over medium heat until browned.
  • 2. Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, and sliced celery to the pot. Cook until the vegetables are softened.
  • 3. Stir in the diced potatoes and sliced carrots. Cook for a few minutes.
  • 4. Pour in the chicken broth and add the dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a boil.
  • 5. Reduce the heat and let the stew simmer for about 30 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
  • 6. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes:

This stew is perfect for a cozy dinner. Feel free to add more vegetables if you like.
