Instructions:
1. In a large pot, heat some oil over medium heat.
2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent.
3. Add the diced potatoes, rinsed lentils, and vegetable broth. Bring to a boil.
4. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 30-35 minutes, or until the lentils and potatoes are tender.
5. Stir in the cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Adjust seasoning to taste.
6. Serve hot and enjoy!
