Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g Okra trimmed
  • 250 g Beef cubed
  • 1 large Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 400 g Tomatoes diced
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 cup Water

Instructions: 

  • Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Add the chopped onions and sauté until translucent.
  • Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  • Add the cubed beef and cook until browned on all sides.
  • Stir in the diced tomatoes, okra, salt, and black pepper.
  • Pour in the water, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer for 45 minutes.
  • Serve hot with rice or bread.

Notes:

For a vegetarian version, you can skip the beef and add more vegetables like bell peppers and carrots.
