Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb Okra, sliced
  • 1 cup Onion, chopped
  • 1 cup Bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 can Diced tomatoes 14.5 oz can
  • 2 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Cayenne pepper optional

Instructions: 

  • Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Add chopped onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Sauté until softened.
  • Add sliced okra and cook for a few minutes.
  • Stir in diced tomatoes and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer.
  • Add shrimp, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Cook until shrimp are pink and cooked through.
  • Serve hot.

Notes:

Adjust seasoning to taste. Serve with rice if desired.
