Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Turtle meat cut into chunks
  • 1 large Onion chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 cups Diced tomatoes
  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 pcs Bay leaves

Instructions: 

  • 1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • 2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until translucent.
  • 3. Add turtle meat chunks and cook until browned.
  • 4. Pour in diced tomatoes and chicken broth.
  • 5. Add salt, black pepper, and bay leaves. Stir well.
  • 6. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours.
  • 7. Remove bay leaves before serving.

Notes:

Serve hot with crusty bread.
