Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Beef chuck cut into cubes
  • 2 cups Tomatoes diced
  • 1 cup Beef broth
  • 1 large Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 pcs Bay leaves
  • 1 tsp Thyme dried

Instructions: 

  • 1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • 2. Add beef cubes and brown on all sides.
  • 3. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, cook until softened.
  • 4. Stir in diced tomatoes, beef broth, salt, pepper, bay leaves, and thyme.
  • 5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours.
  • 6. Remove bay leaves before serving.

Notes:

Serve with crusty bread or over mashed potatoes.
