Soy Sauce

Salt and Pepper
Instructions:
1. Heat a large pot over medium heat and add a bit of oil.
2. Add the beef chunks and brown on all sides.
3. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cook until softened.
4. Stir in the tomato paste, soy sauce, thyme, and allspice.
5. Pour in the beef broth, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low.
6. Cover and simmer for about 1.5 hours, stirring occasionally.
7. Add the carrots and potatoes, cook for another 30 minutes or until tender.
8. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
Notes:
This stew is even better the next day. Store leftovers in the fridge and reheat gently.
