Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Beef stew meat cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 1 cup Beef broth
  • 1 cup Mushrooms sliced
  • 1 medium Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions: 

  • 1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • 2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cook until softened.
  • 3. Add the beef stew meat, season with salt and pepper, and brown on all sides.
  • 4. Sprinkle the flour over the meat and stir well to coat.
  • 5. Pour in the beef broth, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1.5 hours.
  • 6. Add the sliced mushrooms and continue to cook for another 30 minutes.
  • 7. Stir in the sour cream and cook until heated through. Serve hot.

Notes:

Serve with egg noodles or rice for a complete meal.
