Instructions:
1. Heat the Dutch oven over the campfire.
2. Add the beef stew meat and cook until browned.
3. Add the carrots, potatoes, onion, and garlic. Cook for about 5 minutes.
4. Stir in the beef broth, tomato paste, salt, and black pepper.
5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 1 hour, or until vegetables are tender.

Feel free to add other vegetables like peas or corn for extra flavor.
