dark beer

salt and pepper
Instructions:
1. In a large pot, brown the beef stew meat over medium heat.
2. Add the sliced onions and cook until they are soft.
3. Sprinkle the flour over the meat and onions, stirring to coat.
4. Pour in the beef broth and dark beer, stirring to combine.
5. Add the brown sugar, vinegar, thyme, bay leaf, salt, and pepper.
6. Bring the stew to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 2 hours, or until the meat is tender.
7. Remove the bay leaf before serving. Enjoy!
Notes:
This stew pairs well with crusty bread or mashed potatoes.
