Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes 28 oz
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 1 cup fish stock
  • 1 leaf bay leaf
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 0.5 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 lb assorted seafood (shrimp, clams, mussels, fish fillets)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions: 

  • Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Add onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Cook until softened.
  • Stir in crushed tomatoes, white wine, fish stock, bay leaf, basil, oregano, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer.
  • Add seafood and cook until just done, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes:

Serve with crusty bread for a complete meal.
