Instructions:
1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot. Cook until the onion is translucent.
3. Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and water. Bring to a boil.
4. Add the diced potatoes and sliced carrots. Reduce heat and simmer for 30-35 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.
5. Season with salt and black pepper. Serve hot.

This stew is perfect for a cozy night in. Feel free to add other vegetables you like!
