Dumpling Ingredients

Instructions:
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, cook until softened.
Add carrots and celery, cook for another 5 minutes.
Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil. Add shredded chicken, thyme, salt, and pepper. Reduce heat and let simmer.
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt for dumplings. Stir in milk and melted butter until just combined.
Drop spoonfuls of dumpling batter into the simmering stew. Cover and cook for 15 minutes, or until dumplings are cooked through.
Notes:
Feel free to add your favorite vegetables to the stew.
