Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cans Canned Oysters drained
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 small Onion finely chopped
  • 1 clove Garlic minced
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper

Instructions: 

  • 1. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • 2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and cook until softened.
  • 3. Pour in the milk and heavy cream, and bring to a gentle simmer.
  • 4. Add the drained canned oysters, and cook for another 5-10 minutes.
  • 5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  • 6. Serve hot with crusty bread.

Notes:

For a richer flavor, you can add a splash of sherry or white wine.
