Black Pepper
Instructions:
1. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and cook until softened.
3. Pour in the milk and heavy cream, and bring to a gentle simmer.
4. Add the drained canned oysters, and cook for another 5-10 minutes.
5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
6. Serve hot with crusty bread.
Notes:
For a richer flavor, you can add a splash of sherry or white wine.
