Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken, cut into pieces
  • 2 pieces potatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 1 piece carrot, chopped
  • 1 piece onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp gochujang (Korean red chili paste)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 pieces green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions: 

  • In a large pot, add chicken pieces and water. Bring to a boil.
  • Add potatoes, carrot, onion, and garlic. Cook for 10 minutes.
  • Stir in gochujang, soy sauce, sugar, and sesame oil. Simmer for 30 minutes.
  • Add green onions, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  • Serve hot.

Notes:

Adjust the amount of gochujang to your spice preference.
