Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Fish fillets snapper or any firm white fish
  • 1 large Onion sliced
  • 1 large Bell pepper sliced
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp Thyme fresh
  • 1 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil

Instructions: 

  • 1. Season fish fillets with salt and black pepper.
  • 2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add fish and cook until browned on both sides. Remove and set aside.
  • 3. In the same skillet, add onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook until vegetables are tender.
  • 4. Stir in thyme, tomato paste, water, and soy sauce. Bring to a simmer.
  • 5. Return fish to the skillet. Spoon sauce over fish and simmer for 10-15 minutes, until fish is cooked through.

Notes:

Serve with rice or your favorite side dish.
