Instructions:
1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot. Cook until the onion is translucent.
3. Pour in the beef broth, then add the sliced carrots and diced potatoes. Bring to a boil.
4. Reduce heat to a simmer. Add salt, black pepper, and dried thyme. Cover and cook for 30 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.
5. Stir in the frozen peas and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
6. Serve hot and enjoy!
