Ingredients:  

Stew Ingredients

  • 1 lb Beef Stew Meat cut into cubes
  • 2 cups Beef Broth
  • 1 cup Carrots sliced
  • 1 cup Potatoes diced
  • 1 cup Onions chopped
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil

Dumplings Ingredients

  • 1 cup Oat Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 tbsp Butter melted

Instructions: 

  • 1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • 2. Add beef stew meat and cook until browned on all sides.
  • 3. Add onions and cook until softened.
  • 4. Pour in beef broth and bring to a boil.
  • 5. Add carrots, potatoes, salt, and pepper. Reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes.
  • 6. In a mixing bowl, combine oat flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • 7. Stir in milk and melted butter until just combined.
  • 8. Drop spoonfuls of the dumpling mixture onto the simmering stew. Cover and cook for another 15 minutes.
