Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 large Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 lb Lamb, cubed
  • 2 cups Tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup Carrots, sliced
  • 1 cup Potatoes, cubed
  • 4 cups Beef Broth
  • 1 tsp Ground Cumin
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • to taste Salt and Pepper

Instructions: 

  • Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until softened.
  • Add cubed lamb, cook until browned on all sides.
  • Add chopped tomatoes, sliced carrots, and cubed potatoes. Stir well.
  • Pour in beef broth, add ground cumin and ground cinnamon. Stir to combine.
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.

Notes:

This stew pairs well with rice or flatbread.
