Beef shank

studded with 2 cloves

Salt and pepper
Instructions:
1. Place the beef shank in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and cook for 2 hours.
2. Add the carrots, leeks, potatoes, onion, garlic, and bouquet garni to the pot. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Continue to simmer for another hour, or until the meat and vegetables are tender.
4. Remove the bouquet garni and serve the stew hot.
Notes:
This stew is perfect for a cozy winter meal. Serve with crusty bread.
