carrots, sliced

potatoes, diced

beef broth

tomato paste

thyme
Salt and pepper to taste

olive oil
Instructions:
Heat olive oil in a pot over medium heat.
Add onions and cook until translucent.
Add carrots and potatoes, cook for 5 minutes.
Stir in tomato paste, thyme, salt, and pepper.
Pour in beef broth and water, bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
Add leftover steak and cook for another 10 minutes.
Notes:
