Instructions:
Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Add the beef and cook until browned on all sides.
Add the onion and cook until softened.
Stir in the tomatoes, potatoes, beef broth, cumin, salt, and pepper.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1.5 hours, or until the beef is tender.

Serve hot with white rice.
