Instructions:
Heat coconut oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Add sliced onions, minced garlic, and ginger. Sauté until onions are translucent.
Add green chilies, turmeric powder, black pepper powder, and garam masala. Stir well.
Add cubed beef and cook until browned on all sides.
Pour in coconut milk and water. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 30-40 minutes until beef is tender.
Add salt to taste and curry leaves. Stir well and cook for another 5 minutes.
Serve hot with rice or bread.
Notes:
This stew is best enjoyed with steamed rice or appam.
