Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Beef Stew Meat cut into chunks
  • 6 slices Bacon chopped
  • 1 large Onion diced
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 cups Beef Broth
  • 2 cups Carrots sliced
  • 2 cups Potatoes diced
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil

Instructions: 

  • 1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • 2. Add bacon and cook until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  • 3. In the same pot, add beef and brown on all sides. Remove and set aside.
  • 4. Add onions and garlic to the pot, cook until softened.
  • 5. Return beef and bacon to the pot. Add beef broth, carrots, and potatoes.
  • 6. Season with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours.
  • 7. Serve hot.

Notes:

Feel free to add other vegetables like peas or celery.
