Pork shoulder, cut into chunks

Hominy, drained and rinsed

Instructions:
1. In a large pot, heat some oil over medium heat. Add the pork and cook until browned on all sides.
2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot. Cook until the onion is translucent.
3. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 1 hour, or until the pork is tender.
4. Add the hominy, chili powder, oregano, cumin, salt, and pepper. Simmer for another 30 minutes.
5. Serve hot with garnishes like shredded cabbage, sliced radishes, lime wedges, and chopped cilantro.
Notes:
Feel free to adjust the spices to your taste. Pozole is often served with tostadas on the side.
