Salt and pepper
Instructions:
1. Heat a pot over medium heat and add a bit of oil.
2. Add the chicken pieces and cook until browned.
3. Add the garlic and ginger, cook for another minute.
4. Pour in the chicken broth, soy sauce, carrots, and potatoes.
5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
6. Stir in the cornstarch mixture and cook until the stew thickens.
7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
8. Serve hot.
Notes:
Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or peas.
