Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Beef tips cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 cup Chopped onion
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 cups Beef broth
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Salt to taste
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper to taste
  • 3 tbsp All-purpose flour for thickening
  • 2 cups Chopped carrots
  • 2 cups Chopped potatoes

Instructions: 

  • 1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add beef tips and cook until browned on all sides.
  • 2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot. Cook until onions are translucent.
  • 3. Stir in flour and cook for another minute.
  • 4. Gradually add beef broth, water, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir well.
  • 5. Add chopped carrots and potatoes. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  • 6. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour, or until beef and vegetables are tender.

Notes:

Serve hot with crusty bread or over mashed potatoes.
