Instructions:
1. Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat.
2. Add the beef and cook until browned on all sides.
3. Add the onion, garlic, tomatoes, and jalapeños. Cook until the vegetables are tender.
4. Pour in the beef broth, add salt and pepper. Bring to a boil.
5. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes, until the beef is tender.
