Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 3 lbs oxtail cut into pieces
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 inch ginger sliced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp pepper
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 8 cups beef broth
  • 2 carrots sliced
  • 2 stalks celery sliced
  • 2 potatoes diced
  • 1 cup chopped cabbage
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions: 

  • Season oxtail with salt and pepper.
  • Set Instant Pot to sauté mode and brown oxtail on all sides.
  • Add onion, garlic, and ginger. Cook until fragrant.
  • Pour in soy sauce and beef broth. Close lid and set to high pressure for 1 hour.
  • Quick release pressure, then add carrots, celery, potatoes, and cabbage.
  • Close lid and cook on high pressure for another 10 minutes.
  • Quick release pressure and serve hot, garnished with green onions.
