Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs neck bones
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 bay leaf

Instructions: 

  • Season the neck bones with salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme.
  • Turn on the Instant Pot to sauté mode and brown the neck bones on all sides.
  • Add the chopped onion and garlic, sauté for another 2 minutes.
  • Pour in the beef broth and add the bay leaf.
  • Close the Instant Pot, set to high pressure for 45 minutes.
  • Once done, allow for a natural pressure release for 15 minutes.
  • Serve the neck bones with the cooking liquid as a gravy.

Notes:

For a richer flavor, you can add a splash of Worcestershire sauce or soy sauce to the beef broth.
