  • 1 cup Basmati rice rinsed until water runs clear
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • to taste Salt

Instructions: 

  • Rinse the Basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  • In the Instant Pot, combine the rinsed rice, water, and salt.
  • Close the lid, set the valve to sealing, and cook on high pressure for 5 minutes.
  • Allow natural pressure release for 5 minutes, then do a quick pressure release.
  • Fluff the rice with a fork and serve.

Notes:

For best results, use high-quality Basmati rice. Adjust salt to your preference.
