Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs beef neck bones
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 bay leaf

Instructions: 

  • Season the beef neck bones with salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme.
  • Turn on the Instant Pot and select the "Saute" function. Add some oil and brown the beef neck bones on all sides.
  • Add the chopped onion and garlic, sauté for 2-3 minutes.
  • Pour in the beef broth and add the bay leaf.
  • Close the Instant Pot lid, set the valve to sealing, and cook on high pressure for 60 minutes.
  • Once done, allow for a natural pressure release for 10 minutes before quick releasing the remaining pressure.
  • Serve the beef neck bones with the cooking liquid as a sauce.

Notes:

For extra flavor, you can add vegetables like carrots and potatoes to the Instant Pot before pressure cooking.
