Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 0.5 cup sugar
  • 0.25 cup melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions: 

  • In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • In another bowl, mix the mashed bananas, sugar, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract.
  • Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  • Pour the batter into a greased pan that fits in the Instant Pot.
  • Add 1 cup of water to the Instant Pot, place the trivet inside, and lower the pan onto the trivet.
  • Close the lid, set to sealing, and cook on high pressure for 50 minutes.
  • Allow natural pressure release for 10 minutes before quick releasing any remaining pressure.
  • Carefully remove the pan from the Instant Pot and let the banana bread cool before slicing.

Notes:

Ensure the pan fits comfortably in your Instant Pot. You can use a springform pan or any other pan that fits.
