Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Optional Toppings

  • as desired crumbled bacon
  • as desired sliced green onions

Instructions: 

  • Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode and brown the ground beef with the onion and garlic.
  • Add the beef broth, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir to combine.
  • Close the Instant Pot lid and set to high pressure for 10 minutes.
  • Once done, do a quick pressure release and open the lid. Stir in the cheddar cheese and heavy cream until melted and creamy.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve hot, topped with crumbled bacon and sliced green onions if desired.
