Instructions:
Rub the prime rib roast with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Pour beef broth into the Instant Pot.
Place the trivet in the Instant Pot and put the seasoned prime rib roast on top.
Close the lid, set the valve to sealing, and cook on high pressure for 6 minutes per pound.
Allow for a natural pressure release for 15 minutes before manually releasing any remaining pressure.
Remove the prime rib from the Instant Pot and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes:
For best results, use a meat thermometer to ensure the prime rib reaches your desired level of doneness.
