Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds flank steak
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions: 

  • Season the flank steak with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  • Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode and heat the olive oil.
  • Sear the flank steak on both sides until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Pour in the beef broth and lock the lid in place. Cook on high pressure for 10 minutes.
  • Allow for a natural pressure release for 10 minutes before quick releasing any remaining pressure.
  • Remove the steak from the Instant Pot and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing against the grain.
  • Serve the sliced flank steak with the cooking juices poured over the top.

Notes:

For best results, slice the steak against the grain to ensure tenderness.
